Is the desktop app free?
Yes. Owlito is free for every OwlCloudHost account, including the free 1 GB plan. Create an account and sign in.
Windows showed me a SmartScreen notice. Is that normal?
Yes, that's a standard Windows notice for newer apps that haven't built up download reputation yet. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to continue. The installer is published by OwlCloudHost, LLC and shows our license agreement before installing.
What happens to my files if I uninstall?
Nothing. Your files live safely in your OwlCloudHost cloud, not inside the app. Uninstalling removes the app and signs you out of that device, and everything stays right where you left it at owlcloudhost.com/drive.
Does it work with my existing account?
Yes. Sign in with the same email and password you use on the website and your files, folders, and storage plan appear instantly.
